| Physical Description | Madelyn is shapely, with shoulder length red hair, which curls up at the ends. Her hazel eyes are expressive, with long dark eyelashes framing them. She has strong hands which are agile, but they also can be rather gentle. Madelyn dresses for comfort when she is off work, though does like to wear what she calls casual dressy. She isn't up to date on the latest fashions. She does know how to dress, when she feels like it, wearing one inch heels with straps winding up the ankle, along with a summer dress. | Ambitions | Personal: Even though it isn’t on her priority list, Madelyn hopes that she will find someone who would like to take on a relationship with a ready made family. She is very picky, as her daughter is someone special to her. Madelyn wants the person to love her daughter, as well as herself. Now whether that will happen she doesn’t know. Professional, she loves being part of the whole team keeping the ship that she’s on up and running. | Hobbies & Interests | Madelyn plays the celtic harp, the ocarina and the violin. She swims, hikes and rides a bike. A more casual outdoor activity would be to sit by a waterfall and watch the spray, or walk along the beach when she is on a planet or even relax by a river or stream. She is very involved in raising her daughter, making sure Crystal keeps up with her education and has a steady homelife. Madelyn also loves to read various genres. | Personal History | Born January 18th, 2359 Place of Birth: Worcester, Massachusetts Madelyn is the third and last child of Dr. Remington (Biotechnology} and Dr. Lyla Steele. (Medicine) Worcester was a small town but a hub center for higher education as well as medicine. Both her father and mother wanted Madelyn to go into medicine, following in either of their footsteps, She didn’t want to do either. She was following her grandfather, Russel aka Rusty Steele’s path. going into the Corps of Engineers. Childhood: There was enough family and places to have fun, to give Madelyn and her siblings a well rounded, well loved family structure All pitching in to help when the parents were at work. It takes a village to raise a family and that was what they were in some aspects. There were plenty of cousins to go hang out with and have fun along with getting into mischief. Her older siblings One went into science the other Medical like her mother. Education wise, all went to school, and graduated and went to the schools they chose. Age 17 Madelyn went to Starfleet Technical Services Academy on Mars. Going through the two year program. When she graduated she went into StarFleet Corps of Engineers.There she continued to study hard and do hands-on training and learning. She had the skills and probably a boost in that aspect due to her Grandfather teaching her some skills when she was young. 2378-2383 Madelyn joined StarFleet Corps of Engineering; the first ship was the Intrepid Class USS Abernathy. She rose up in the ranks due to her dedicated hard work . Her 24th birthday was a major turning point for her. Not only did she turn 24, she also had gotten a raise in rank to Chief Petty Officer. Her friends had taken out to a station to have a celebratory party. They got drunk and she met a man who was rather charming. His eyes were distinctive greyish purple eyes. There was something about him that drew her in. The only name that she knew him by was Raph. She left the party with him and had a rather passionate night. They went their separate ways the next day. She went back to work the next day. Two months went by and she was feeling ill. Madelyn thought she had the flu and had herself checked out. She found out that she was pregnant! Since she hadn’t been with anyone after her birthday, Madelyn could only surmise the baby was his.In October Crystal was born, it was noticed that the little girl had the same coloration of her eyes as the man she slept with. She had no idea on how she could get in touch with him. 2384-2387 Madelyn was sent to DS42 to where she was part of the engineering team. She became the assistant chief to the Chief of Engineering. Life was decent, Crystal was growing up rather well.She studied hard, worked hard. Life was good. She had offers to date, to have a male as Crystal’s dad. Madelyn didn’t want any of that. She had a goal and that was to become a Warrant Officer and be a Department head of engineering. 2388-2394 USS Wasp (Galaxy) She became an assistant chief of Engineering. The USS Wasp was sent back to SpaceDock One for a refit. While that was happening, Madelyn went on a vacation to spend time with her parents. Vacation time ended by an order that she was being transferred to the USS Ontario. 2395 The beginning of her new station and ship as Chief of Engineering 2389 Madelyn age 30 took the test to become a Warrant Officer and passed. |
