| Physical Description | Endymion has light brown hair with pops of honey in it. His intense grey eyes are quiet attention getting. He has an easy and beautiful smile and carries himself with Vulcan like grace. He is of average fit build and like other Trills his hands are cold; but, unlike other Trills he has no spots, at least where one can see. |

| General Overview | Tox is known as Mr. Sunshine, not only the host but the symbiont. He is kind, caring, loving and a very empathic individual. He never gives up and will push through the worst of circumstances. He is an optimist with a wicked sense of humour and a love for 'dad jokes'. He loves to laugh and is an ambivert who will give his all in social situation but will require time by himself to recharge. He is confident and a great listener. He hates to see others down and will do what he can to lift them up. He has no filter and is painfully truthful and loves grumpy people. They are a challenge for him and he's been known to randomly hug the grumps as a way to get them to be less grumpy. He has also been known to play practical jokes from time to time. |

| Personal History | Endymion was born on Trill to a mother and father both part of the Symbiosis team. His mother, a doctor, and his father, an Academy professor prepared all the hosts for their joining. From the moment Endymion, named after his mother's favorite character, was born she wanted him to be a host. He was the youngest son of six seven boys and thus the most spoiled. He had the love of his siblings and family but not those at the symbiosis Academy who saw him as less then because he was born without most of his spots. He only had spots from the armpits down but nothing on the shoulders arms neck or face. He was also born with a rare eye color for Trills, grey, and according to the commission even though he excelled in all aspects he still was not good enough for joining. His mother was angrier then he was. He was fine with not having a symbiont and thus made plans to join Starfleet. Little did he know that Volen Tox had a plan. Tox, one of the older symbionts, insisted always on picking his next host. Volen, having been diagnosed with an illness that would give him months to live he'd chosen the next host, Endymion. Tox, a pilot, offered to take a ship full of cadets to Earth. He knew he only had days to live at that point and so he ensured, thanks to the help of his wife, a doctor, that he flew the ship to Earth and that only joined Trill cadets would be on the ship in addition to Endymion. As predicted two days into the journey Volen died and Endymion was the only Trill there who was not joined. With no other choice the doctor, Volen's wife, did a risky surgery to join Endymion and Tox and then after 30 hours passed she contacted Trill to let them know what happened. They sent a ship but by the time they got back to Trill over 95 hours had passed and the Symbiosis commission could not remove Tox without killing Endymion and damaging the symbiont. They were not happy about it but what was done was done and the Tox Symbiont had already started integrating into Endymion's personality. They were all shocked at how well the host and symbiont were suited to one another. Endymion, the host, had no intention of staying on Trill and was out on the first shuttle back to Earth to take his place at the Academy. Along the way he changed his mind about his studies. He no longer wanted to be an engineer but he wanted to go into medical, the influence of Tox, who had never had a doctor host and as a thank you to his previous host's wife. Endymion found that he loved science and he loved medicine. He studied both getting a medical degree and taking many courses in the study of space and the stars. As he made his way through the academy. Through it all he changed from a complete introvert into an ambivert. He found that he loved to listen to people, he loved to talk and help people and socialize, and he also found grumpy people to be his favorite challenge. He could make the grumpiest or saddest person smile. During his Academy days he joined many teams, made many surface friends, but only one close friend that he never even met. PLUTO, a fellow student, younger by two years, who was also part of the Starfleet Letter Exchange Program. In 2383 he graduated and left everyone behind but PLUTO. The two stayed friends through out their career only exchanging letters. In the fall of 2383 Endymion moved to Starfleet Medical and Nursing, a division in Tokyo to finish his degree, or rather add to it. The years in Tokyo were somewhat lonely but he settled into a way of life that was turned upside down in 2386 when he was assigned his first ship the USS Cristal an Olympia class Medical ship. His Starfleet career was stable and easy. He didn't find much issue until his posting on the USS Tegan as head Nurse. It was that ship that had a profound impact on him and just as he was settling down his life turned upside down again when he was assigned to the USS Ontario. |
