[Last Time on "HIs Corp Requirement"]

"Oh, I know what you do. However, I was not clear if the job nobody wanted was being with Robin. You don't appear to think highly of him."

"He tends to be a bit less than what I would think he should be; I do all the really Heavy Lifting and he allows me to." Chaotic replied. "The jobs NO One wants, the destruction on a larger scale or even... individuals, tend to be My job." He nod. "So Yes, he is not my favorite."

"You say that nobody wants it, but you are not the only person in this universe that does it. Someone trained you. There were those who did it before you and those who will do it after you," Amanda pointed out. She waited silently to see if Chaotic had a response to that.

[TO BE CONTINUED]

"You have to train how to do a job, there are basics to everything." He shrugged. "You were trained to be a counselor. My job has things to be passed, how well I do that job is what gets me assignment some others in my field avoid. Like blowing up a base by flooding a hot core with Methane and have it explode and take base full of beings with it. Deserving aside, there are many that can, but few who are at that skill level to be assigned to do it.

"But there are others," she observed. "Few is more than one."

"Do you think those threats take a number and wait their turn patiently?" he asked calmly. "There are more jobs than trained personnel. Think of it as a Market with infinite growth potential and a Limited skill set to deal with it." He shrugged, "Why else leave someone with my baggage in fleet?"

"Or maybe Starfleet just sees a tool that is so close to breaking, that if something goes wrong, Starfleet shrugs their shoulders and says, 'Would have happened anyways, so now two problems are gone. Let's pick up the pieces and move on.'" Amanda shrugged apologetically. "Or, perhaps it is something else completely. In the meantime, you're ordered to be here and I intend to help you."

"Do your worst," he said brazenly.

"My worst? I never try to do anything poorly," she informed him with a cheery smile.

"Perish the thought." He gave a stoic expression. "Picking up the pieces is far from what I think they want; I believe that the demand justifies the keeping 'on call."

"Then why send you to me, at all? Hmmm?"

He sat there for a couple of seconds pondering an answer.

"Regulations." He replied. "And keeping me more stable when not doing the jobs might help?"

"There are no regulations that cover your situation, so that's not it. As to keeping you more stable, at least that is somewhat plausible. However, given that you pop out and exchange places with your other personality at any given time, I'm not thinking that's likely either."

"It is not at random. Who is needed?" Telling her with no real hint of his thinking in his expression. "We are both needed, just when we are needed, I do the heavy lifting."

"I see, so you see yourself as a martyr...."

"Quite the opposite,I know what purpose I serve and am open about it." He countered. "Just the one that is not as favored publicly, they like how I work and tolerate my methods accordingly." Chuckling. "A tool you pull out for a job, nothing much more..." He hesitated. "There is one who acknowledges me in a favorable fashion, accepts I am part of the... whole."

"Oh?" Amanda asked cuing Chaotic for an answer. He certainly liked to repeat himself and hear himself talk.

"Aya..." He said slowly. "Andorian in OPS, been seeing her for a bit; helps with sleeping, nice lady at heart."

"Who does she wake up with?" Amanda wondered aloud.

"She cares for me as part," he said calmly. "She does love me that way, she is ...calming to be with, cool and soft like a snow bunny should be."

"That did not answer my question."

"Not my girlfriend," he admitted. "She is not leery of me, but she is nice to me though. We both know she prefers someone else." He shrugged. "She adores him."

This again was not what Amanda was getting at. She was wondering if this woman woke up with Robin after being relaxed or Chaotic. However, it was more than a little interesting seeing Chaotic's softer side. What put Chaotic back away and brought Robin back out? "So, you do not mind being the other man?"

"Not my turn, mine died in the field, she sooths nerves just being close. I am not around much of late. No heavy lifting, she likes her time with him. I have seldom spent any time with her really." Smiling that sly grin. "We are at Forty seven minutes of session." Tapping his temple. "My job you have to know timing to the second."

"It is true that you need to know timing by the second but counseling does not always work that way, and if I felt that it was warranted, I could keep you here longer or remove you from duty," she told Chaotic matter-of-fact. "So, here, I would just ask you to relax and talk. You have no engagements that are requiring your presence in the near future that I am aware of."

"It is not polite to keep a lady waiting." He said. "Her shift ended 32 minutes ago, she is likely curled up in our favorite special blanket waiting for some caring man to share it with. Is that an engagement on my part?"

"That sounds like poor planning on both of your parts, to have this appointment and then expect you to be there during it," Amanda observed with a slight smile, emphasizing her point.

"The usual time duration for a session is over, Andorians need to cool down after a work shift. Do you expect company right after shrinking heads all day? She should be just getting comfortable and now has to wait her Boyfriend to come around." He said. "Counselors say I need to be social yet dampen opportunities to do such."

"Shrinking heads?" Amanda laughed pleasantly. "I have not heard that in awhile. You see, Chaotic, your discomfort with me and this session is merely proof that you do not wish to confront the full aspect of yourself. You distract. You contort. You expound. However, you do not address. There are plenty of opportunities to be social. However, you scheduled it at a time that you hoped would get you out of something that would be uncomfortable for you. It really is a classic avoidance technique."

"And you use intimidation techniques such as remind me that you can take me off duty if I do not cave to what you wish me to say or do." He replied. "As was noted when asked why I do not like counselors it was stated I dislike the fact you could do such and others also have reminded me that Counselors are in control of my operational career." Looking her in the eye. "Is this a trust building tactic they teach all counselors?"

"If you're intimidated by me, I would suggest that you look in a mirror. I've never raised my voice and only express concern for your well-being. I don't wish for you to say or do anything for me." She refused to give into or answer Chaotic's sarcastic question and ignored it.

"Are we done here, or will I need to continue on the Merry-G0-Round?"

"That depends on you or Robin."

"So you mean that despite the standard session I cannot depart?" He did nothing mote than stoic expression. "Should I call for dinner or would that be unprofessional?"

"That would be unprofessional," she responded flatly to Chaotic, who she knew was just trying to push her buttons at this time. "Standard sessions are whatever a counselor believes is appropriate. Perhaps when counselors were paid by the hour they would be more inclined to end a session when the clock hit the hour, but payment is not required for living anymore."

"Then what do you believe is appropriate in this sessional encounter?" He asked. "I operate better with objective parameters."

Amanda grinned, believing she finally had a loophole that she could crack. "I'm certain that you do. Consider, however, that not every situation has parameters. I challenge you to work without them."

"Please define your idea?" He asked.

"I just did. Work without a parameter." Amanda grinned harder.

"I should need to return to duty at some point, so with there being mandatory sessions could we arrange another time as we are at a stalemate?" He asked.

"What do you think?" the counselor threw back.

"That we are getting nowhere." He told her. "I am no danger to anyone; and I can be at my best while doing my duty,"

"You are a danger to yourself," Amanda answered. "And I am not convinced that you are not a danger to others. Your dossier tells quite a different story. What I see is that you are utilized as a weapon."

"That was my assignment; why not let me try being an Intel asset rather than weapon?" He explained his thought. "Only way to know is let me do it. I am after all trusted with a new assignment by fleet; why not give me enough line to hang myself of climb out the the depths of wherever you think I am?" Grinning. "You can always pull your Authorty if I fall off the wagon sort to speak?"

"Let you do what, exactly?" Amanda asked suspiciously.

Allow me to do my Duty Station; keep up sessions and see what happens?" He told her. "You did mention working without parameters and all?"

"I did, but that has more involved than simply, doing your duty."

"Every journey begins with a First Step," he commented.

"True, but I think your first step should be off duty," Amanda replied with a knowing smile. "I think we need you to get out of your comfort zones."

"You are not thinking correctly; My first step should be getting out of My 'Comfort Zones?" He paused for a second."One cannot get rid of those as a first step." He look at her. "Surely as a Counselor, taking my comforts away will not be a positive reaction as my Duty might be seen as one of those comfort Zone you wish to; and I quote, 'Get out of?"

Shaking his head.

"Is this where the cure is more severe than the problem?" Asking gently in tone. "An Intel who the counselor deems unfit will undermine the doing of the job. Why not just bounce me out as unfit and save a lot of trouble. Duty I have not show any reason to be held back; it is the only reason for being in fleet. Take that you take my reason be be on the crew."

"I appreciate that you do not understand my logic but that does not make it invalid. Explaining it again to you will only cause you to deflect and rationalize my input away. So, for now, I think that our session is done. You can either do things as I suggest, or I will not release you to duty. It really is a simple matter when you consider it."

"Sign the papers to cancel the Intel Duty, removed from service and Make Bunny cry. Is that really fair when we both know the Intel Duty is best for us all right about now."

He paused.

"Let Maxwell do the job; it is the best thing to have a purpose in life other than the Heavy Lifting. It is all about protecting the Crew and ship. Other than Bunny nothing else is a priority."

"Bunny? You mean Aya?"

Trying to fight the blush.

"Yes," He said calmly. "Snow Bunny or 'Bunny' for short. A pet name Robin thought up for her."

"I see. Perhaps you should spend some more time with her. It seems that you and Robin at least have that in common."

"That was an intension until the session ran long so if it is over please excuse> " He bow slightly and started for the door.

"You're excused for now. We will see you soon."
